Hrithik Roshan is back. His much anticipated movie, ‘Kites’ is soon going to be released. To generate that essential hype, the music of the ‘Kites’ has been released two months prior to the release of the movie. The movie has been directed by Anurag Basu and the music has been composed by Rajesh Roshan. The album definitely has an international touch that will appeal to the listeners outside India. Interestingly, Hrithik has also made his singing debut and well, he has done a decent job here. Lyrics have been written by Nasir Faraaz and Asif Ali Beg and they have done a commendable job.

The album begins with ‘Zindagi Do Pal Ki’. Crooned by Kay Kay, the song will make an impact immediately. Kay Kay, true to his talent and potential has done a fascinating job and the song manages to remain with you even after you are done with the album. This one is a romantic track and has interesting variations of the pitches. The remixed version of the song is relatively faster but the essence remains the same.

Next comes ‘Dil Kyun Yeh Mera’ sung by Kay Kay again. It is a slow song that works smoothly. The number has cool mix of electronic guitar and beats and delightful rhythms.  You are sure to fall in love with this song. The remixed version of this song has added mixture of techno beats and rap. It is equally appealing.

Vishal Dadlani and Suraj Jagan have crooned ‘Tum Bhi Woh Wahi’. The song starts slowly but picks up the pace afterwards. The vocals are high-pitch and give the impression of a rock song. Singers have done a wonderful job here.

Hrithik Roshan makes his debut as a singer in ‘Kites in the Sky’. Ably supported by Suzanne D’Mello, the song has feel of opera and has English lyrics. It’s a slow and melodious song making you listen to it again and again.

The next up is ‘Fire Love is Hell’ in voices of Rajesh Roshan, Vishal Dadlani, Anirudh Bhola and Anushka Manchanda. It is actually a dance number that will make you move to its beats. The English version of the same song has almost everything similar to the original track. All in all, the album is worth listening to and is sure to make a mark in local as well as international market.
